D-Day

I just sat here and ate a great big bowl of chocolate pudding and ice cream. Unhealthy I know but damn it was good! I thought I deserved it after a long day.A long day of sitting around waiting.....
Okay yes it is the fifteenth today and so I had my big assessment day with the defence force. I woke up early this morning to get ready and I was very anxious to get to town and get the day over with!
A psych interview, a medical interview and a job interview. With a hearing and vision test thrown in between for good measure. Fun.
Actually it wasn't too bad and I didn't appear as nervous as I had been feeling before hand. I was pretty confident actually. And I aced them all. And they really like me. And I'm really happy. Yes, I was accepted :)
I will either leave next month if they can fit me in or sometime in March. We will have to see. Either way I'll be scared shitless, but excited at the same time.
I'll get back to the matter when I know an enlistment date!
