Shopping we did go...

Well I had a good weekend. And a peaceful one. We didn't have Cameron for the whole weekend! The in-laws decided to have him which was nice! And it made it easier for Dwayne and I as we had some serious shopping to do! It's tax time, and that means goodie time!

Well maybe not the kind of goodies others might choose to spend their money on, but goodies to us. It meant I could finally buy a tumble dryer. Hallelujah! I've been waiting for one all winter so I couldn't wait to go out and buy one. And we thought it was time that the girls could change from cots to bigger beds so I was excited to pick some out also. And a day out for Emma and Chelsea would be good for them.

We found a good deal on a 6kg dryer which was good, and found the cutest beds, and a matching tallboy to go with it. Nice wooden ones which will hopefully last them a few years! We actually found all the things we needed at the first two stores we visited, but thought we'd shop around for a better deal. But of course we ended back where we started. Isn't that always the way?

I think the girls enjoyed their day out with mummy and daddy. They even had their first kids club meal from Hungry Jacks. They loved it of course. What kid doesn't like hot chips and nuggets? And they were so much easier to deal with without Cameron. There was no jealousy and tantrums, just them getting a bit restless in their strollers.

So a good day shopping it was! Cameron came back yesterday afternoon and within minutes the house was turned upside and in chaos! But no surprises there. He is such a full on little boy!!!
Aren't their new beds the cutest?
